About
Boston Game Dev is a community of game developers in eastern Massachusetts.
Our mission is to run educational events to teach folks about the craft of making games, and to support locally made games and the folks who make em!
We regularly come together to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and support each other on our game development journeys. If you make games, or are interested in learning to make games, check out the events on our meetup page or drop by our Slack channel!
We’re a registered 501c3 and would love your support. We’re completely volunteer run and donation supported, and rely on donations to cover costs like venue bookings and make our events possible!

Boston Game Dev supports a number of monthly events, like Boston Indies, Boston Post Mortem, and Game Audio Boston!
Some examples of events we run are playtesting nights, lectures, game showcases and more!
